Year One

It’s been one year. I can barely believe it. This had to have been the fastest year of my life, because frankly it’s been the best year of my life. The wedding, was a dream come true, but each day since has been better. I actually  straight up *forgot* our anniversary, one of my best friends had to gamely remind me. “It’s paper” she said pointedly “so think of something“. I had thought of something, a book. It would be perfect, Josh loves reading. Except I never bought it. My excuse is .. well I’m busy, and isn’t the house enough for both of us?! But these are weak excuses, and I’m wracked with guilt every time I think about it. Especially since Josh brought me to our favorite Indian restaurant, which served us a sumptuous 4 courses, and wrote me a beautiful sonnet (on paper) so romantically reminiscent of  the first one he wrote to woe my entirely too-easily-won heart.
